La pericolositā č la probabilitā che si
verifichi in una data area un evento geologico calamitoso di una certa
intensitā entro un determinato intervallo di tempo. In questo laboratorio si
studiano le eruzioni vulcaniche e i terremoti del Quaternario, al fine di
riconoscere quali edifici vulcanici e faglie potrebbero riattivarsi in futuro e
con che modalitā.
This laboratory studies
Quaternary earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in order to recognize which
volcanic edifices and faults could reactivate in the near future and by which
mechanisms.
